FREE GUIDE: Fundraising and Resilience for 2026

Updated: 6 days ago

Practical insight and local learning to support Jersey’s good causes

Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside many charities and community organisations across Jersey. While their missions vary, the challenges they face are often shared: rising demand, increasing costs, limited capacity and growing expectations from funders, donors and partners.

Alongside this hands-on work, I’ve spent time reviewing local sector reports, national fundraising and governance guidance, and, most importantly, listening to people working on the ground. Staff, volunteers, trustees and donors consistently tell me they want clarity, confidence and practical support to help their organisations remain resilient.

This guide also aligns with IslandKind's direction. Over the coming year, IslandKind will be developing training programmes, shared learning and practical tools focused on fundraising, governance, leadership and the skills that support generosity and community impact.

If you find this resource helpful and would like to stay involved, you can also register your interest in future IslandKind training and events. This helps shape what is developed next, including whether bursary support is needed.

A practical resource for Jersey Good Causes

To respond to what I’ve been seeing and hearing across the sector, I’ve created a free fundraising and resilience guide for Jersey charities and good causes.

The guide brings together:

  • local sector insight and financial data

  • national fundraising and governance guidance

  • practical learning from working with organisations of all sizes

  • real conversations from across Jersey’s charity community

It’s designed to be useful whether you are volunteer-led, part of a small team, or reviewing strategy within a more established organisation.

When downloading, you’ll also have the option to hear about future IslandKind resources, training and events.

Thank you to everyone working to support Jersey’s good causes. This work matters, and you are not doing it alone.
